WORKING PROCESSES (FOR THE UNINITIATED)
Pre-Production
This can include any of the following, depending on the scale of the shoot: location scouting, booking in kit, buying or hiring backdrops, liaising with designers, sets, props, chairs, booking in assistants, make-up artist, or stylist.
The top end of this can involve a pre-light day, multiple location scouting, a test shoot and preliminary retouching.
Production
Shoot days can vary in length depending on the project. In general, I look to shoot one set-up an hour - unless you want documentary photography, where we are following the world rather than creating it.
Post-Production
I go through the days shoot and select images, balance up the colours and make necessary adjustments. I then send these images to you, you make your selections, and then I work to polish the chosen images, retouch, and return them to you in agreed file size.
Rates
Every job is tailored made to the clients needs and my rates tend to move between £500 - £950 a day + expenses. Shoots may also be subject to usage fees
Expenses
I have a substantial amount of camera, lighting and sound equipment but some projects may require equipment hire, which is charged at an additional rate. This will always be discussed and agreed beforehand.
