Thanks for booking in!

The aim of your headshot is to get one strong portrait
which will be the image casting directors and directors
will view over the next couple of  years. It needs to be
striking and look like you on your best day.

In advance of the shoot, have a look at portraits and
headshots you like, and for the tech savvy, make a
Pintrest board. Feel free to send images over in advance
but keep the words to a minimum, I’m dyslexic, and an
image speaks a thousand words.

Have a think about your casting bracket, the type of work is your agent putting you up for
and ideal future roles. It might be a good idea to have a chat to your agent in advance about what you both want.

Clothes

Please bring along two or three different options and we can have a play. You will know the
colours and styles that suit you best, but do have a good think about what's going to work
best in advance.

Hair and Make-Up

Some people are confident with their hair and make-up and that’s great. If not, then you couldvisit somewhere like Blow before the shoot. Bring along any hair styling products you use so
you can make adjustments whilst we are working.

If you'd like to book a make-up artist, I have relationships with a few local makeup artists
who are great. If you want me to see if they are free then let me know. I arrange those
relatively last minute as it tends to be a small job for them. Rates from £50 - £80ph
depending on artist.

Men. Make sure your skin is well moisturised and if you need to use any cover up that it
matches your skin tone. I can retouch out blemishes but it is easier and better if you do the preliminary cover up work first.

Remember your shaving products if you’d like to shave half-way through the shoot.

Cancellation Policy

I try to be a flexible as possible as I understand the demands placed on actors, but I ask for48 hours notice to move a shoot. If you have an audition I may be able to move your shoot
earlier or later in the day dependent on the light and the time of year.

I understand sometimes things come in last minute but please be sensitive to the fact that if you are booked in, then I have paid for childcare for the period for the shoot and retouching / admin time.

Please keep me in the loop if you are expecting a meeting, or are pencilled for a job, the
more notice I have on potential movements the easier it is to accommodate.
